Five clean sheets this
weekend, including one for Valladolid's Sergio Asenjo in the 0-0 draw with Juan
Pablo's Numancia. The young keeper is being touted by several big clubs, and
with a record of +3 he would be in our chart if he had played enough games.
At the other end of the age
scale Athletic Bilbao's Armando was given a run out as Joaquín
Caparrós changed all eleven players in preparation for Wednesday night's
Cup final against Barcelona, and he too kept his goals against column to zero.
So too did another veteran, Valencia's César, against Real Madrid, and
also Málaga's Goitia, another keeper who is being watched by the big
guns.
Elsewhere there were returns
for Racing's Toño and Mallorca's Moyà after injuries, in the case
of Moyà since way back from week nine. (11.05.09) |
