Zamoras

So that's it then. Víctor Valdés can already be confirmed as this season's Zamora after his coach Pep Guardiola decided he would not play again in the league this season. With the B team's campaign ended after just failing to get in to the 2B play-off spots, some of Luis Enrique's young bucks were drafted in to the squad to give a rest to a few of the stars. That included keeper Oier, who played the full ninety minutes against Mallorca.

Six clean sheets in all in a relatively quiet week, including one for Leo Franco as Atlético beat Valencia 1-0 to move up in to the Champions League spots. Osasuna coach opted to include the more experienced Ricardo rather than Roberto for the big game against Palop's Sevilla, and although he didn't let in any goals the game ended 0-0, leaving the Pamplona based side in the drop zone.

The other Ricardo (Betis) also kept his goals against column to zero in a 2-0 victory over Almería, for whom Diego Alves returned after an injury. And there were important clean sheets too for Juan Pablo (Numancia) and Kameni (Espanyol) in their respective matches, the latter against losing cup finalists Athletic Bilbao who brought back Gorka Iraizoz to play against his old club after he was rested last weekend.
