Zamoras

Not often that a game involving Valencia and Barcelona ends without goals, but this time César and Víctor Valdés were the winners as honours were shared. Valdés has only let in three all season, and his closest rival now would appear to be Aranzubia, who clocked up his fourth clean sheet in a row in Depor's 1-0 over Sevilla. Javi Varas took over between the sticks for the Andalusians after Palop picked up an injury midweek. The only other clean sheet in another week of 30 goals was Osasuna's Ricardo in a 3-0 win over struggling Atlético, for whom Sergio Asenjo returned after Spain were knocked out of the under 20 World Cup.
