Víctor Valdés
moved further away from his closest rival Iker Casillas after Barcelona beat
Xerez 0-2 on Wednesday night. The match was brought forward from day 15 due to
Barça's participation in the Club World Cup. Valdés also went one
better than the Madrid keeper at the weekend as goals flowed all round. Only
two keepers managed clean sheets, Atlético's Sergio Asenjo at Xerez, and
Racing's Toño at Espanyol. Asenjo completed his eighth match and joins
our chart this week, as does Valencia's César, who comes in at second
spot having only let in four goals all season. (07.12.09) |
