Zamoras

Víctor Valdés extended his lead at the top of the Zamora chart after Barcelona beat city neighbours Espanyol 1-0, his two closest rivals César and Casillas both falling further behind after a high scoring game between Valencia and Real Madrid. Otherwise though the goal tally was relatively modest, albeit that only Aouate and Palop managed clean sheets as well as Valdés. Two goalkeeping changes this weekend, Coltorti coming in at Racing due to an injury to Toño, and Codina being favoured by Getafe coach Michel ahead of Ustari. (14.12.09)
