Just one week before the big
derby, Real Madrid's Casillas produced his first clean sheet in eight games to
close the gap on Víctor Valdés. His team-mates will have to stick
five or six past Barcelona though if he is to have any chance of winning this
season's Zamora, something which is fairly unlikely given the recent form of
both teams. Five more clean sheets this weekend, De Gea (Atlético),
César (Valencia), Palop (Sevilla), Diego López (Villarreal) and
Roberto (Zaragoza), and one change of keeper, Fabricio making his debut for
Valladolid in place of the suspended Justo Villar. It didn't save coach
Onésimo from being fired though after another defeat, and new boss
Javier Clemente will have to decide which of his three keepers he will use from
now to the end of the season. (06.04.10) |
