Another high scoring round
of games at the weekend as the league heads towards an exciting climax, with
only Aranzubia and Diego López managing to keep clean sheets. Several
goalkeeping changes though, particularly by teams who have little to play for,
with Moyà replacing César for Valencia and Roberto coming in for
Ricardo for Osasuna. Racing coach Miguel Angel Portugal preferred to draft in
Toño for Coltorti for their relegation battle at Valladolid, and
Atlético boss Quique left De Gea at home prior to the Europa League
final, bringing in Sergio Asenjo in his place for the match at Sporting. The
under 21 international only lasted ten minutes though before picking up what
looks like a serious knee injury, and youngster Joel came on for the rest of
the game. (10.05.10) |
