How things can change in a
week! Seven days ago Casillas was riding high at the top of our chart having
not let in more than a single goal in any one game, but the 5-0 drubbing
against Barcelona takes Víctor Valdés above him to the top of our
rankings. The big "derby" game outshadowed all others in day thirteen, but
earlier in the weekend there were clean sheets for Diego López
(Villarreal), Aouate (Mallorca), Toño (Racing) and Iraizoz (Athletic).
Three goalkeeping changes to comment on as well, with Rubén returning in
Málaga's goal after an injury lay-off (let's see if he is the answer to
Pellegrini's problems), Verhuitzen making his debut for Hércules in
place of the suspended Calatayud, and Guaita taking over between the sticks at
Valencia following injuries to first and second choice keepers César and
Moyà. (30.11.10) |
