A fourth clean sheet for
Víctor Valdés as the Barcelona number one moves further clear at
the top of our chart. Valdés was one of four keepers to maintain his
goals against column to zero this week, together with De Gea (Atlético),
Codina (Getafe) and Toño (Racing). César returned to the Valencia
goal after a long injury lay-off, but he didn't have the best of nights,
letting in three against Osasuna. With Moyà injured, third choice Guaita
may oust him after a brilliant performance in Old Trafford midweek. A mention
too for Almería keeper Diego Alves, who has saved 9 of the 14 penalties
he has faced in the league since joining the club three and a half years ago.
The latest was from Sevilla's Kanouté last Saturday. (14.12.10)
