A strange weekend, with no
less than three games ending in 0-0 draws. Sporting Gijón and Zaragoza
started us off, with Cuéllar still in goal for the locals and Doblas
coming in for the injured Leo Franco for the visitors. And later in the evening
Aranzubia's Deportivo shared the points with Real Madrid, Casillas returning
between the sticks after his one match ban. Then on Sunday it was the turn of
Calatayud's Hércules to draw with Getafe, Codina returning to Michel's
side after Ustari failed to keep a clean sheet in six games. Our leader
Víctor Valdés was still out though, Pinto once again covering
admirably for him as Barcelona beat Mallorca 0-3 to extend their lead at the
top of the table. (02.03.11) |
