Zamoras

Barcelona and Real Madrid are once again in a league of their own this season, and Pinto (still standing in for the injured Valdés) and Casillas kept clean sheets as both won their midweek games. Barça's was a narrow victory at Valencia, but Madrid stuck seven past Málaga, with keeper Willy Caballero the visitors' best player! Diego López's Villarreal close up on Valencia with a 1-0 win over Hércules, and Sevilla are back in the running for the European spots, coach Gregorio Manzano preferring to keep Javi Varas even though Palop was fully recovered from his injury. Clean sheets as well for Ricardo and Aranzubia as Osasuna and Deportivo drew 0-0 in a round of games which only produced 24 goals in all. (05.03.11)
