Atlético Madrid's Courtois is our new leader this week after his side beat Sporting Gijón 4-0, and with Falcao leading the league Pichichi chart as well, Atlético's new boys are certainly making their mark. Eight more clean sheets too in the midweek round of games, Alvarez (Espanyol), Caballero (Málaga), Andrés (Osasuna), Toño (Racing), Casillas (Real Madrid), Bravo (Real Sociedad), Javi Varas (Sevilla) and Diego López (Villarreal), who returned to the side after a one match ban. Andrés in particular must be grateful for his performance after letting in eight at the Nou Camp last weekend. With four games gone Betis are the new league leaders, but their keeper Casto only lasted 70 minutes against Zaragoza before picking up a red card. Goitia came on to replace him, but let in two as the Maños came back and almost snatched a point. One other goalkeeping change as well, Sporting's Cuéllar stepping in for Juan Pablo in the aforementioned game against Atlético. (23.09.11)
