Víctor Valdés achieved the club record after keeping a clean sheet in the Czech Republic on Tuesday, but he was finally beaten by Athletic Bilbao's Ander Herrera on Sunday, just 897 minutes since Valencia's Pablo scored against him on 22nd September. It was a strange weekend though, with no less than four games ending without goals despite a more than average tally of 27 in all. There were 10 clean sheets in all that for Aouate (Mallorca), Javi Varas (Sevilla), Casto (Betis), Caballero (Málaga), Guaita (Valencia), Roberto (Granada), Toño (Racing), Cristian Alvarez (Espanyol), Diego López (Villarreal) and Cobeño (Rayo Vallecano). Spare a thought though for Osasuna's Andrés Fernández, who let in eight against Barcelona a few weeks ago, and this Sunday was hit for seven by Real Madrid. Ah well, at least he's improving!
