Víctor Valdés let in first league goal at home since last April against a valiant Betis on Sunday night, and true to the old adage a second one came along right behind! The Barça keeper is still six goals ahead of his closest rival Casillas though, and is on track for a record fourth Zamora title in a row. Otherwise it was an average weekend, with 26 goals in all, and clean sheets for Iraizoz (Athletic), Courtois (Atlético), Toño (Racing), Bravo (Real Sociedad), Javi Varas (Sevilla) and Kiko Casilla (Espanyol), who made his first start of the season in place of the injured Cristian Alvarez. Espanyol's first choice last season was of course Kameni, who has taken the hint after being passed over in the cup for youth international keeper Edgar Badia, and who has agreed a move to Málaga with immediate effect.
