Iker Casillas is gradually edging away at Víctor Valdés, and after a 5-0 win over Espanyol he is now only two goals behind his Spanish international team-mate. Curiously Casillas was up against his almost namesake Kiko Casilla, and once again he proved that a lot of Casillas are better than one Casilla (sorry, that was an attempt at a joke)! Otherwise only two keepers managed clean sheets in another high scoring weekend, Athletic Bilbao's Iraizoz and Valencia's Guaita. Guaita's opposite number was Julio César, who stepped in at Granada for the suspended Roberto, although once again he was at fault for a goal which gave the Ches the three points. Racing's Toño had an even unhappier game at Rayo though, what there was of it at least. He was sent off after two minutes and Mario came on to replace him for the rest of the match. (06.03.12)
