Willy Caballero is moving clear of the rest after a ninth clean sheet of the season as Málaga won 0-2 at neighbours Sevilla, his closest rivals Casillas and Courtois letting in two and four respectively. The proof of the pudding though will come in the next three games, with the Andalusians hosting Real Madrid and then Barcelona in consecutive home fixtures. It was a low scoring weekend all round however, with two matches ending without goals, and clean sheets as well for another seven keepers, Iraizoz (Athletic), Roberto (Granada), Bravo (Real Sociedad), Munúa (Levante), Lux (Deportivo), Dani Hernández (Valladolid) and Adrián (Betis). Rayo also kept their goals against column to zero, with Cobeño going off injured midway through the second half and Rubén taking over from him for the rest of the match. Roberto and Lux themselves were favoured this weekend ahead of regular keepers Toño and Aranzubia, and Kiko Casilla also made his first league appearance of the season for Espanyol in place of the injured Cristian Alvarez, as luck would have it against his plural namesake Casillas!
