The highest scoring weekend of the season, with 38 goals in all, although there was still room for five clean sheets, including one for our leader Courtois as Atlético drew 0-0 at Codina's Getafe. Pinto (Barcelona), Rubén (Rayo Vallecano) and Casilla (Espanyol) also kept their goals against columns to zero as their respective sides won.
Courtois's nearest rival Willy Caballero was rested this weekend prior to Málaga's Champions League qualifier, Kameni stepping in for his first appearance in the league this season, and there were three other goalkeeping changes, Rayo's Rubén and Real Sociedad's Bravo both returning after missing the last match for varying reasons, and Guaita given a run out at Valencia in place of Diego Alves. Caballero's absence means that Osasuna's Andrés is the only keeper to play in every league match this season. (09.04.13)
