After much umming and ahhing, Víctor Valdés finally decided to stay for another season at Barcelona, and he is already on track for a record sixth Zamora prize after keeping clean sheets in Barcelona's first two games. Valdés is the only keeper not to be beaten to date (of those who have played both matches), but there were clean sheets as well this weekend for Courtois (Atlético), Keylor Navas (Levante), Diego López (Real Madrid), Beto (Sevilla) and Herrerín (Athletic), who made his league debut in place of the injured Iraizoz. One other change as well, Pepe Mel opting to try out Guillermo Sara in place of Andersen. Both are new signings this summer, and he is presumably still undecided as to which will be his first choice this season. (27.08.13)
