Some surprises at the weekend, our top two keepers Courtois and Valdés both letting in three as Atlético and Barcelona lost to Osasuna and Real Sociedad respectively! That gave Diego López a chance to close up on the leaders after his Real Madrid won 3-0 at Elche, and with Atlético and Madrid playing each other next weekend anything could happen. López and Osasuna keeper Andrés were just two of the six who kept clean sheets this weekend, the others being Esteban (Almería), Caballero (Málaga), Beto (Sevilla) and Iraizoz (Athletic Bilbao). Two goalkeeping changes as well, Manu Herrera stepping in for the injured Toño at Elche, and Sergio Asenjo returning for Villarreal after his short injury lay-off. ( 25.02.14 )
