Just running down the clock now to the end of the season before Courtois is officially declared this season’s Zamora, but unless e.g. he lets in ten at the Nou Camp in the last match of the campaign, the trophy is surely his again! This weekend he managed another clean sheet, his fifth in six games, and we understand Chelsea and Atlético are already in talks to extend his loan at the Calderón stadium for another year.

Another five clean sheets this weekend as well, for Diego López (Real Madrid), Rubén (Rayo Vallecano), Manu Herrera (Elche), Jaime (Valladolid) and Guaita (Valencia). Aslo two goalkeeping changes to note, both coming in the same game, with Beto returning from a brief injury lay off for hosts Sevilla, and Germán making his top flight debut for Espanyol in place of the suspended Kiko Casilla. Beto came out the better of the two though as his team won 4-1. (08.04.14)
