This section is getting easier to write every week, cut and paste from last weekend, mark up by one the number of clean sheets Courtois has registered, and that’s about it! The Atlético keeper has still only let in one goal in the last nine games after the leaders won 0-1 at Valencia, although maybe his most important clean sheet of the season came on Tuesday against the club who own his rights, Chelsea. One more in Stamford Bridge next week (plus a winning penalty shoot-out???) and Atlético are in to their first European Champions final in 40 years!

Back to the land of the mortals though, and four more teams kept their goals against columns to zero this weekend, Rubén’s Rayo, Diego López’s Real Madrid, Claudio Bravo’s Real Sociedad, and Getafe, for whom Julio César played all but the last two minutes, the Brazilian keeper being replaced by Codina after picking up an injury. At this stage of the competition we only have four minders who have played every minute of every league match, the aforementioned Diego López, plus Willy Caballero (Málaga), Esteban (Almería), and Yoel (Celta).
