Goalkeepers came out on top this weekend, with no less than ten clean sheets and only sixteen goals scored in all, the lowest tally of the season by far. There were three score-less draws, between Guaita’s Getafe and Bravo’s Barcelona, Juan Carlos’s Córdoba and Diego Mariño’s Levante, and Beto’s Sevilla and Irureta’s Eibar, and Diego Alves (Valencia), Kameni (Málaga), Sergio Asenjo (Villarreal) and Fabricio (Deportivo) all kept their goals against columns to zero as well. And for the third week in a row there were no goalkeeping changes at all, which in itself must be something of a record? (16.12.14)
