For the first time in several years a Real Madrid goalkeeper leads our chart, Keylor Navas helping the fans to forget Casillas with his fourth clean sheet in a row, and his fifth counting the midweek Champions League game. The Costa Rica number one is already only ten minutes away from beating Iker’s best ever run, which he set in winter 2009! The weekend got off to a slow start, with clean sheets for Guaita (Getafe), Domenech (Valencia), Adán (Betis) as well as Navas in the first four matches, but after that the goals started to flow, and only Rayo’s Toño (back after a one match suspension) managed to keep his goals against column to zero. Lots of changes between the sticks this weekend elsewhere as well, with Raúl Lizoain stepping in again for Rayo’s opponents Las Palmas in place of the suspended Javi Varas, Sergio Rico replacing the injured Beto at Sevilla, Sporting’s Alberto García coming in at the last minute for Cuéllar, who felt a twinge in his knee in the pre-match warm-up at Deportivo, and Real Sociedad’s new signing Oier making his debut after Rulli was sent off just before half time in the match against Espanyol.
