Last year’s “Zamora” Claudio Bravo was back in goal for Barcelona this weekend after a month long injury lay-off, but he couldn’t do much to prevent a 2-1 defeat at Sevilla on Saturday evening. The damage was limited though as the four teams around the Catalans all failed to win, Atlético and Real Madrid drawing 1-1, leaders Villarreal beaten 1-0 by Rubén’s Levante, and Celta drawing 0-0 with Getafe, clean sheets there for Sergio Alvarez and Guaita. All of that meant that Eibar and Betis closed in on the top six, Riesgo and Adán also keeping their goals against columns to zero as their teams both won 0-2 away from home against Las Palmas and Rayo Vallecano respectively.
