No less than eight clean sheets this weekend, including a third in a row for our leader Oblak, a fourth in a row for Bravo, and others for Keylor Navas (Real Madrid), Lux (Deportivo), Iraizoz (Athletic), Adán (Betis), Sergio Rico (Sevilla) and Guaita (Getafe). Adán was a doubt right up until the last minute before the Friday night game at Levante after he picked up an injury last weekend against Atlético, bt in the end he passed a late fitness test to play. Elsewhere there was one other goalkeeping change, Valencia coach Nuno opting to bring back Australia’s Mat Ryan after his long injury lay-off, even though Jaume Domenech had been in exceptional form recently. It was though just about the last decision that Nuno made prior to him handing in his resignation at the club, and it will be up to whoever replaces him to decide which of the two plays in goal next weekend.
