Four clean sheets this weekend, all coming in two score-less draws on Saturday evening. The first of those was between Leganés and Villarreal, Herrerín making his debut for the locals after moving on loan from Athletic Bilbao as emergency cover for the injured Serantes. Our leading “Zamora” Sergio Asenjo also kept his goal untouched though to stay one ahead of Oblak and Diego López, who both clocked up clean sheets as well in Atlético’s Calderón stadium. The Espanyol keeper has not let a goal in for five weeks, and he is well on track for a new club record. Elsewhere Boyko made his debut for Málaga in place of Kameni, who was carrying a knock, and Cuéllar returned for Sporting after his short injury lay-off, Abelardo preferring to bring him back despite a good performance by Diego Mariño against Real Madrid last weekend.
