Quite a few changes on the goalkeeping front on the return to work following the winter break, with new coaches Romero (Málaga) and Vasiljevic (Osasuna) opting to draft in Kameni and Mario in place of Boyko and Nauzet. Leganés set a new (unwanted’) record, new signing Champagne (fill in your own jokes here...) coming in for the suspended Herrerín, their fifth keeper in as many games after Serantes, Brignoli and Diego Barrios had featured recently. Alavés reserve keeper Ortolá made his first division debut after Pacheco pulled out with a knock, Roberto replaced the injured Diego López at Espanyol, and Athletic Bilbao’s Kepa had to be substituted by Iraizoz after he injured himself during the first half of the derby game against Alavés. That match ended 0-0, and there were clean sheets as well this weekend for Keylor Navas (Real Madrid), Moyà (Atlético Madrid), Javi Varas (Las Palmas), Sergio Rico (Sevilla) and Adán (Betis).
