When Kepa was not included in the Athletic Bilbao line-up for the big derby game against Real Sociedad, this weekend we all thought, hello, his move to Real Madrid must have already gone through? It turns out though that he was injured, so we will have to wait a bit longer at least to find out whether that happens or not. His replacement Herrerín and his opposite number Rulli were two of the nine keepers not to let a goal in this weekend, the sixteen scored in all the lowest tally of the season to date (albeit that the game between Leganés and Real Madrid has still to be played). Our joint leaders Oblak and Ter Stegen also kept clean sheets, as did Sergio Rico (Sevilla), Oier (Levante), Bono (Girona), Sergio Asenjo (Villarreal) and Adán (Betis). (19.12.17)
