Oblak squeezed past Ter Stegen this weekend to lead our table at the mid-point of the season, the Atlético keeper putting in another good performance as his team won 0-1 at Eibar. Five more clean sheets as well, for Emi Martínez (Getafe), Bono (Girona), Sergio Asenjo (Villarreal – in the Bernabeu stadium!), Rubén Blanco (Celta), and Pacheco (Alavés). Only one change between the sticks, Las Palmas new coach Paco Jémez giving a try out to Raúl Lizoain instead of Chichizola. It didn’t particularly work out though, the Canary Islanders getting hit for six by the Liga newcomers! (16.01.18)
