A few changes on the goalkeeping front this weekend, with Sevilla coach Montella surprisingly dropping Sergio Rico to bring in David Soria, both for the Champions League game against Bayern Munich, and for the weekend match at Celta, and Betis keeper Adán catching his coach off guard by checking in for a groin strain operation which will keep him out for the rest of the season, Dani Giménez stepping in there for the game against Getafe. Meanwhile Valencia’s Marcelino brought back Neto after giving Jaume a run out last week, and Real Sociedad’s Moyà limped off with an injury just before the break, and with Rulli not yet fully fit, third choice keeper Toño replaced him. Giménez, Neto and the Moyà/Toño combination all recorded clean sheets this weekend, as did Pacheco (Alavés) and Sergio Alvarez (Celta), but Soria let in four at Balaidos, and it remains to be seen whether Montella sticks with him for the future.
