A double header this week, with league games midweek and at the weekend. (02.10.18)

Week 6. Villarreal’s Sergio Asenjo topped the table after a clean sheet in Villarreal’s 0-3 win at Athletic on Wednesday. Oblak and Diego López are just a goal behind him through after they too kept their goals against columns to zero, and there were clean sheets as well for Vaclik and Pau López.

Week 7. Neto (Valencia) and Masip (Valladolid) both saved penalties for their respective sides to help them to 0-1 wins over Real Sociedad and Villarreal respectively. Courtois and Oblak were the best men on the park as Real Madrid and Atlético drew 0-0, and a clean sheet as well for Joel, who was given a run out by Betis in place of Pau López. Two other changes between the sticks as well as games come in thick and fast, Moyà replacing Rulli at Real Sociedad, and Jovanovic taking over from Axel Werner at Huesca.
