Barcelona may still be top of the table, but they haven’t had a clean sheet since the first two weeks of the season, and this weekend Ter Stegen let in no less than four in 3-4 defeat to Betis. He already appears to be out of the running for the Zamora award, leaving the way open, one assumes, for Oblak, albeit that several keepers are still in touch with the Atlético keeper as we go into the short international break, There were clean sheets for Masip (Valladolid), Riesgo (Eibar – replacing the injured Dmitrovic), Neto (Valencia), Bono (Girona) and Cuéllar (Leganés), although he didn’t make it to the end of the match at Girona, having to be replaced by Lunin with four minutes to go due to an injury. Lunin himself, on loan from Real Madrid, played his first minutes in the league, as did Rayo Vallecano’s Dimitrievski, who came in for Alberto García in an attempt to turn around Rayo’s fortunes. That didn’t really happen though as the Madrid based side could only draw 2-2 with fellow strugglers Villarreal. (13.11.18)
