Third round, first leg

The draw took place for the third round of the Spanish cup today, with thirteen first division and three second division sides (Alavés, Eibar and Levante) still in the competition. Teams competing in Europe were seeded, and second division sides were drawn to play their first leg matches at home. Ties will take place over two legs on or around 7th and 14th January, with the first leg to take place at the ground of the first named side. (19.12.03)
