Semi finals, first leg

The draw for the semi finals took place on Friday, with ties to be played over two legs on or around the 4th and 11th February. Second division Alavés have avoided Real Madrid and will play Zaragoza, who beat Barcelona in the pevious round. Madrid themselves will play Sevilla, with the first leg in the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. Results as follows: Match reports.
