León. A convincing victory for Spain in their under 21 friendly against Denmark, with Barcelona's Iniesta and Sergio García in particular laying the groundwork for a new generation of young stars. The two combined for Sergio to open the scoring with just over a quarter of an hour gone, and the striker scored a second goal eight minutes later after good work by Racing's Jonathan.

Armando Ufarte made several changes around half time, and substitute Jonan García got a third goal after the keeper could only push out Vitolo's free kick. And it could have been more if Jonathan and Iniesta had not missed chances in the second half, including one header from Jonathan which rattled the bar.
