Spain topped their group after beating Ireland 3-1 in their last mini-league match. Their opponents had not picked up a point in their first two games, but Hourihane put them ahead on the quarter hour mark after picking up a pass from Clifford, and Racing's Angel Díez had to keep out Doran to avoid his side from falling further behind by half time.

Juan Santiesteban brought on Rubén Rochina and Canales at the break though, and the Barcelona striker made the difference, connecting with a pass from Atlético's Keko to equalise and then beating Hanley for a second time with a free kick. And with eight minutes to go Rochina returned the favour to allow Keko to run through and wrap things up. The youngsters play Holland in the semi-finals on Tuesday.
