Spain are in to the semi-finals of the World Cup after winning the penalty shoot out against Uruguay! It was a thrilling match, Luna putting the South Americans ahead with a well struck free kick and Isco equalising from the penalty spot after Sarraute brought down Sarabia.

Spain were awarded a second penalty when Isco was fouled, but Sergio Roberto fired his kick over the bar. Sarraute was sent off for a second bookable offence, but numbers were evened up when Muniesa was also red-carded on the stroke of half time.

Ginés Meléndez's side seemed to be on the way to victory when Borja scored twice in a minute early in the second half. But Mezquida closed the gap with another free kick, and Atlético Madrid's Gallegos levelled the scores again in the fourth minute of injury time.

After extra time the game went to penalties, where Edgar saved Mezquida's spot kick and Isco converted his to take the youngsters through to a meeting with hosts Nigeria.
