Spain drew their opening game of this year’s Elite Round against Russia, and they really need to win their next two games against Wales and Switzerland to have any real chance of reaching the finals. Villarreal’s Madger Antonio put Santi Denía’s side ahead following a corner just before the break, but Kipiani volleyed in the equalizer for the hosts early on in the second half.
