Spain are out of the youth World Cup after losing to Argentina. They were up against it from the start when the referee awarded a controversial penalty for hands by Real Madrid's Jesús in the area in the second minute which Colace converted. By half time though they were in front, with two goals in five minutes from Guillermo and Senel. However Argentina's Maxi López levelled the scores with a fantastic goal from outside of the area, and when Jesús got his marching orders for a second yellow card Spain's challenge ended. Zabaleta and Aguirre added two more for the South Americans to send Juan Santiesteban's youngsters home early. (21.09.01)
