UEFA 2004/2005

Third round matches

Five Spanish sides entered the draw for the third round of the competition, the four who made it through from the previous group stage and reigning UEFA cup champions Valencia, who were knocked out of the Champions' League after finishing third in their mini-league. The fixtures involving Spanish teams are set out below, with all but Valencia away in their first leg games. The draw was also made for the fourth round, and if all make it through there will be two all-Spanish ties, Athletic Bilbao v Zaragoza and Valencia v Villarreal (a repeat of last season's semi-final). Sevilla have been drawn to play the winner of the game between Parma and Stuttgart. (17.12.04)
