No problems for Oblak this weekend, and he takes his second consecutive “Zamora” award by a comfortable margin in the end. Real Madrid are league champions though after winning both games this week, the first at Celta on Wednesday, and the second at Málaga on Sunday, where Keylor Navas clocked up his first clean sheet since the end of January. With many teams out of the running for European or relegation spots coming in to the last round of games, several coaches brought in changes, Davy Roef (Deportivo) and David Soria (Sevilla) both keeping their goals against columns to zero in their first league appearances of the season. As it happens Depor’s first choice keeper Lux was suspended, as was Betis number one Adán, Dani Giménez replacing him there. Meanwhile Raúl Lizoain (Las Palmas) and Yoel (Eibar) both returned to their respective line-ups in place of Riesgo and Javi Varas. Adán’s absence meant that only two keepers played every minute of the season, Real Sociedad’s Rulli and Granada’s Ochoa who, as commented last week, has set a new (negative) record for the number of goals let in by a single keeper in a league season.
