Tuesday 9th November:

Espanyol 1 - Valladolid 1 (final score). Barragan equalised with penalty after Didac handled (min 77), but Espanyol through to last 16.

Espanyol 1 - Valladolid 0 (min 68 - Osvaldo). Substitute gives locals the lead. Visitors down to ten men as Jofre sent off ten minutes ago.

Racing 3 - Córdoba 1 (min 120 - Luque pen). Controversial last minute penalty for hands! It's all over, Córdoba through on away goal rule!

Espanyol 0 - Valladolid 0. Penalty to Valladolid, Calle hits it Panenka style straight at keeper!

Racing 3 - Córdoba 0 (min 102 - Edu Bedia). Cantabrians now ahead from another free kick - carbon copy of second goal.

Racing vs Córdoba in to extra time. Espanyol and Valladolid kicking off now. Catalans already 2-0 up from first leg, so strong favourites.

Racing 2 - Córdoba 0 (min 72 - Kennedy). Tie now level after wide Kennedy free kick beats everyone. Extra time if no more goals?

Racing 1 - Córdoba 0. (min 25 - Bolado). Young striker pulls one back from Diop's assist. One more to go to level it? Copa del Rey.

Wednesday 10th November:

Final scores: Barça 5 - Ceuta 1; Athletic 2 - Alcorcón 0. Orbaiz scores second for Basques in injury time. Four more games tomorrow.

Barcelona 5 - Ceuta 1 (min 68 - Messi). He only came on seven minutes ago! Good work by Thiago.

Barcelona 4 - Ceuta 1 (min 65 - Bojan). Finally gets his first of the season after Messi shot cleared off line.

Barcelona 3 - Ceuta 1 (min 50 - Pedro). Pedrito gets his golito. Beat Fock from wide angle.

Final scores: Sevilla 6 - Real Unión 1; Depor 2 - Osasuna 1; Levante 1 - Xerez 2; Almería 2 - Real Sociedad 1.

Atlético Madrid 1 - Universidad Las Palmas 1 (final). Fran Mérida saved face for locals with equaliser in min 75.

Villarreal 2 - Poli Ejido 0 (final). Altidore wraps things up in 90th minute, but Poli could have forced extra time.

Sevilla 6 - Real Unión 1 (min 88 - Acosta). Tennis score in Sánchez Pizjuán.

Barcelona 2 - Ceuta 1 (min 34 - Guzmán). One back for the North Africans! Still 4-1 down overall though.

Sevilla 5 - Real Unión 1 (min 57 - Cigarini, min 73 - José Carlos). Sorry, missed one! Sevilla now 9-1 up on aggregate.

Barcelona 2 - Ceuta 0. Moreno sent off for giving away penalty on Bojan, but Bojan fires spot kick at post. More bad luck for the boy!

Athletic Bilbao 1 - Alcorcón 0 (min 26 - Gabilondo). Winger scores opener from David López centre. Athletic one up from first leg.

Deportivo 2 - Osasuna 1 (min 64 - Lassad). Great pass from "the general" Valerón, and Depor in front again.

Deportivo 1 - Osasuna 1 (min 62 - Lekic). Visitors down to ten men after Sergio sent off, but even so Lekic equalises.

Levante 1 - Xerez 2 (min 58 - Antoñito). Header from Oscar Díaz cross. Correction, first leg was 2-3, so Levante still ahead.

Deportivo 1 - Osasuna 0 (min 53 - Riki). Header from Ze Castro's cross to open scoring. First leg was 1-1 draw.

Barcelona 2 - Ceuta 0 (min 7 - Milito). Gabi slams home the second from a wide angle.

Almería 2 - Real Sociedad 1 (min 52 - Agirretxe). What did we say? Two more needed to take game to extra time!

Barcelona 1 - Ceuta 0 (min 2 - Nolito). Youngster cuts in from wing to score his first goal for senior side!

Almería 2 - Real Sociedad 0 (min 46 - Ulloa). First minute goal from corner. Can Real do what Almería did in first leg?

Half time in 6 games. Atlético down to 10 men after Diego Costa sent off. Ties in Barcelona and Bilbao kicking off now.

Zaragoza 1 - Betis 2 (final). Betis through on away goal rule! Local coach Gay in trouble again.

Real Madrid 5 - Murcia 1 (final). Xabi Alonso adds fifth from free kick in last minute. Arbeloa off for 2nd yellow card. Madrid through.

Levante 1 - Xerez 1 (min 44 - Caicedo). Now Levante ahead.

Sevilla 3 - Real Unión 1 (min - Bernardo). Another youngster scores! Defender heads in from corner.

Real Madrid 4 - Murcia 1 (min 84 - Benzema penalty). Cristiano handed ball to Benzema for this one. He needed it!

Real Madrid 3 - Murcia 1 (min 81 - Pedro penalty). Consolation goal for the visitors. Xabi Alonso handled in the area.

Real Madrid 3 - Murcia 0 (min 74 - Ronaldo). Mou brought on Xabi Alonso, CR7 and Di María after break. They are serious about this!

Sevilla 2 - Real Unión 1 (min 26 - Rodri). Youngster heads second from Alfaro cross.

Levante 0 - Xerez 1 (Antoñito penalty). Second division side ahead from penalty spot. First leg was 2-3.

Almería 1 - Real Sociedad 0 (min 21 - Goitom). Swedish striker extends lead after 2-3 win in Anoeta.

Atlético Madrid 0 - Universidad Las Palmas 1 (min 20 - Aridane). Canary Islanders ahead in Calderón! Atlético scored 5 in first leg though.

Sevilla 1 - Real Unión 1 (min 15 - Alfaro penalty). Sevilla equalise just two minutes later after defender handled in area.

Villarreal 1 - Poli Ejido 0 (min 18 - Montero). Jefferson fires home side ahead. First leg ended in 1-1 draw.

Sevilla 0 - Real Unión 1 (min 13 - Romo). 2B side take the lead, although they need three more to draw level.

Real Madrid 2 - Murcia 0 (min 44 - Higuaín). Higuaín scores second following corner on stroke of half time.

Zaragoza 1 - Betis 2 (min 35 - Rubén Castro). Angled shot from Castro puts Betis ahead on away goal rule!

Zaragoza 1 - Betis 1 (min 15 - Jarosik). Betis lead only lasted three minutes! Jarosik heads in from Boutahar cross.

Zaragoza 0 - Betis 1 (min 12 - Contini own goal). Contini scores in own net to cancel out Zaragoza's 0-1 lead from first leg.

Copa del Rey: Real Madrid 1 - Murcia 0 (min 4 - Granero). "The Pirate" opens the scoring early on with a shot from outside of the area!

Copa del Rey: Just kicking off, Real Madrid v Murcia and Zaragoza v Betis. Six more games at 21:00 and two at 22:00.

Real Madrid expected to overturn Murcia in La Copa tonight but amazingly haven't actually won the competition for 17 years.

Thursday 11th November:

That's it then for this round of the cup. Only two survivors from second division, Córdoba and Betis. All the big names are still there.

Málaga 3 - Hércules 2 (min 91 - Sebas Fernández). Sebas heads the winner in injury time. Game ends soon after, Málaga in to last 16!

Málaga 2 - Hércules 2 (min 62 - Abel Aguilar). Aguilar scores to put Hércules ahead on away goals, but then gets himself sent off.

Final scores: Sporting 2 - Mallorca 2; Valencia 4 - Logroñés 1. Mallorca and Valencia through to last 16. Only one game to go now.

Valencia 4 - Logroñés 1 (min 85 - Feghouli). First goal for Valencia by French forward.

Málaga 2 - Hércules 1 (min 30 - Portillo). Striker connects with Thomert cross to get one back. One more and Hércules would be ahead.

Sporting 2 - Mallorca 2 (min 63 - Juan Muñiz). Substitute levels the score for the Asturians, but still need 3 more to overtrun tie.

Málaga 2 - Hércules 0 (min 10 - Eliseu, min 15 - Edinho). Pellegrini off to a great start as new coach. First leg ended without goals.

Getafe 0 - Portugalete 0 (final). Getafe hit woodwork 4 times, but couldn't score. Michel's side still qualify thanks to away goal.

Valencia 3 - Logroñés 1 (min 43 - Isco). Another from the youngster! Beat four men before scoring. One for the future?

Valencia 2 - Logroñés 1 (min 33 - Vicente). Another debutant, young striker Paco Alcácer, had a hand in the goal, finished off by Vicente.

Valencia 1 - Logroñés 1 (min 24 - Isco). Under 19 international scores on his first team debut. A "golazo"!

Sporting 1 - Mallorca 2 (min 25 - Bilic penalty). Bilic gets one back from the spot after Kevin handled. Still a long way to go though.

Sporting Gijón 0 - Mallorca 2 (min 10 - Nsue, min 15 - Nsue). Two from Nsue makes the aggregate score

1-5. It's laready over! Valencia 0 - Logroñés 1 (min 2 - Osado). Minnows take the lead! They still need two more to level the tie though.

Getafe 0 - Portugalete 0 (half time). Whistles from the crowd at the break. Kicking off soon: Valencia v Logroñés; Sporting v Mallorca.
