The manager merry-go-round continued over the last few days, with Manzano moving from Sevilla to Atlético, Marcelino leaving Racing to join Sevilla, and Cartagena's Juan Ignacio Martínez taking over at Levante from Luis García, who signs at Getafe. Racing are the only top flight club yet to sign a new boss, although Caparrós's future at Athletic depends on the old president winning the elections this summer. The biggest player moves of the of the fortnight have once again been at Málaga, where the high spending new owners have tied up internationals Monreal and Mathijsen to join Van Nistelrooy and company in a new project which has had the fans fighting over season tickets. Everybody though is waiting for the big clubs to move, with Agüero and Fábregas (amongst others) touting their wares between the Nou Camp and the Bernabeu looking for a chance to join the elite. Still many more weeks to go however, and expect to see thousands of rumours before the final squads are announced at the end of August. Keep tuned here and to our twitter site for the latest news!
