Under 17 friendly internationals

Spain's under 17 side played a couple of games against Georgia in the Las Rozas training centre in Madrid in preparation for the European "Elite Round" qualifiers in Belgium at the end of this month. Gines Meléndez's side won the first match 2-1, with goals from Córdoba's Vico and Real Sociedad's Iker Hernández, but were held to a 0-0 draw in the second fixture. (24.02.11)
