Thursday 22nd December:

Barcelona 9 - L'Hospitalet 0. End of game, 10-0 on aggregate. Highest score under Guardiola. Iniesta injury not so bad, out for 15 days.

Barça 9 - L'Hospi 0 (Cuenca 80'). Great reverse pass from Cesc. By the way, all 10 of Barça's outfield players are home grown!

Barça 8 - L'Hospi 0 (Tello 64'). Youngster curls one past keeper for his second of the night! Can they make double figures?

Barça 7 - L'Hospi 0 (Thiago pen 55'). Phew, no time to rest here! Viale brought down Cuenca in the area.

Barça 6 - L'Hospi 0 (Cuenca 48'). Started second half as they ended the first! Tello crosses in for Cuenca to complete the "set". "

Barça 5 - L'Hospi 0 (Tello 43'). Youngster scores on debut in Nou Camp, running through from own half! He's only been on five minutes!

Barça 4 - L'Hospi 0 (Xavi 35'). Return pass from Cesc! Bad news is injury to Iniesta, Xavi taken off too, Sergi Roberto, Tello on.

Barça 3 - L'Hospi 0 (Thiago 22'). Defender tried to dribble out of defence. Oops!

Barça 2 - L'Hospi 0 (Iniesta 18'). Xavi to Cesc to Iniesta! Like we said, they're all playing tonight! Guardiola making sure this time!

Barça 1 - L'Hospitalet 0 (Pedro pen 11'). Dubious penalty on Cuenca - Pedro converts to open gap to 2 goals.

Barça announce line up for tonight's game. Forget the B team, all the top boys are there except South Americans, who have already gone home!

Valencia 4 - Cádiz 0 (Banega 68'). They think it's all over - it is now!!!

Valencia 3 - Cádiz 0 (Soldado 41'). That must be it - Soldado heads in Piatti cross. No way back now for Cádiz?

Two matches tonight, starting with Valencia v Cádiz. Ches 2 up in first 30 mins, Víctor Ruíz 05', Jonas 26'. Emery taking it seriously!

Wednesday 21st December:

Athletic Bilbao 1 - Oviedo 0 (Ander 73'). Muniain and Iraloa set up Ander's goal to take Athletic in to last 16.

Levante 4 - Depor 1. Koné scores in extra time to take Levante through! Depor end with 9 men after Borja RC.

Levante - Depor in to extra time after Alvarez fired second penalty against bar in last minute!

Zaragoza also fall 0-2 to Alcorcon (Riera 86', Quini 89') and coach Aguirre's future is in question.

Betis rocked by defeat to 10 man Cordoba despite 2-1 result on the night. Borja away goal decided it.

Villarreal sack coach Garrido after 0-2 defeat by lowly Mirandés - Pablo scored 2nd in min 88. Musacchio RC at end.

Málaga 2 - Getafe 2 (Buonanotte 86'). Málaga through thanks to 0-1 1st leg, + Buonanotte free kick! RC for Casquero.

Granada 2 - Real Sociedad 1 (Agitrretxe 83'). Striker avoids embarrasing defeat with late goal. Real go in to Friday's draw.

Osasuna 1 - Almería 1 (Lamah 79', Goitom 86'). Osasuna cruise through thanks to 1-3 win in first leg.

Rayo 4 - Racing 3 (Stuani pen 73'). Racing qualify on away goal rule! Stuani penalty after foul by Tito on Christian decided it!

Levante 3 - Depor 1 (Rubén 79'). Tie all square! Depor with 10 men after Saúl sent off min 35.

Málaga 1 - Getafe 2 (Willy og 58', Mané 78'). Willy deflects in Valera, cross & Mané turns it round with free kick! Weligton RC!

Granada 2 - Real Sociedad 0 (Geijo 66'). Geijo heads in Dani Benítez cross - only one more needed for Andalusians!

Rayo 4 - Racing 2 (Stuani 52', Tamudo 61'). Stuani levelled the tie, but Tamudo puts Rayo back in front on aggregate!

Villarreal 0 - Mirandés 1 (Pablo 60'). Villarreal behind against 2B side, and could be worse - César saved pen in min 6!

Betis 2 - Córdoba 1 (Jorge Molina 33', 54'). Goals from Molina either side of half time but Betis back in it. Still need one more though!

Atlético 0 - Albacete 1 (final). Atleti knocked out of the cup by 2B side!!! Last game for Manzano before Simeone takes over?

Málaga 1 - Getafe 0 (Van Nistelrooy 45'). Ruuuuud! Málaga 2-0 up in the tie after Van the Man's strike! Coming up to break in most games!

Levante 2 - Depor 1 (Ballesteros 38'). This one is on fire! Ballesteros thumps one in off post to put locals back in game!

Rayo 3 - Racing 1 (Michu 36', Delibasic 40'). What were we saying? In seven minutes Rayo have turned it round!

Rayo 1 - Racing 1 (Piti 33'). Rayo back in it! One more and they are through on away goal rule!

Levante 1 - Depor 1 (Pablo Alvarez pen 23'). Depor have the advantage, Levante need 2 to take game to extra time.

Granada 1 - Real Sociedad 0 (Siqueira 19'). Andalusians coming back, but 4-1 last week means they still need two more.

Betis 0 - Córdoba 1 (Charles 17'). Visitors were one up from first leg, and with away goal by Charles Betis now have to score three!

Levante 1 - Deportivo 0 (El Zhar 13'). Depor were 3-1 up from first leg, but one more by Levante and away goal rule applies!

Rayo 0 - Racing 1 (Tziolis min 7). Cantabrians 3-2 up from 1st leg, and Tziolis extends gap by one more. Mirandés missed pen at Villarreal!

Atlético still losing at break, aggregate 1-3 after first leg. Seven matches kicking off now, Athletic Bilbao in 2 hours' time!

Ten cup games tonight, starting with Atlético v Albacete (2B). Couldn't be worse for Atleti, Víctor Curto scores for Alba within 20 seconds!

Tuesday 20th December:

Sevilla 2 - San Roque 1 (Kanouté pen, min 52', Kanouté min 60 / Adri min 79). Comfortable win in the end for Sevilla.

Half time in Sánchez Pizjuán, and Sevilla and 2B side San Roque drawing 0-0! Sevilla have one goal lead from first leg.

Real Madrid 5 - Ponfe 1 (Varane 49', Joselu 80', Callejón 88' / Acorán 54'). Goals too in the Bernabeu as defending champions cruise through.

Espanyol 4 - Celta 2 (Alvaro 50', Hugo Mallo og 59', Sergio García 69' / David Rodríguez 63', 91'). Lively 2nd half, Espanyol go in to hat!

Sporting 0 - Mallorca 1 (Nsue min 70). Mallorca overturn first leg home defeat to make it through to last 16.

Real Madrid 2 - Ponfe 0 (Sahin min 45). First goal for Sahin in Madrid colours, from Özil corner this time. Game over, if it wasn't before.

Espanyol 1 - Celta 0 (Weiss min 30). Individualist goal to give Catalans the lead in the tie. Celta's De Lucas sent off for insulting ref!

Real Madrid 1 - Ponfe 0 (Callejón min 25). On-form Callejón scores following Özil assist to widen the gap to three goals.

Sporting 0 - Mallorca 1 (Menéndez og, min 18). Young full back puts though own net to cancel out Sporting's first leg lead.

Four second leg cup matches tonight, three kicking off at 20:00 - Real Madrid - Ponferradina; Real Madrid - Ponferradina; Espanyol v Celta; Sporting v Mallorca.
