Atlético Madrid are through to their second final in three years after beating fellow Spaniards Valencia 5-2 on aggregate. Simeone's team came in to the second leg with a 4-2 cushion, and although the locals dominated for much of the game, Adrián wrapped things up with an impressive strike on the hour mark. There was further bad news for the Ches when Canales was stretchered off with another knee injury, and Tiago was shown a red card as players clashed in a bad tempered incident near the end. Atlético meet Athletic Bilbao in the final, hoping to repeat their title win from two years ago.
