This year's cup final will be an all-Madrid affair, Atlético Madrid joining city rivals Real Madrid after a 4-3 aggregate win over Sevilla.

Simeon's side built on their 2-1 advantage from the first leg early on, Diego Costa shrugging off a couple of defenders to fire a shot past Beto in the sixth minute. And Falcao added a second on the half hour mark after combining with Costa on a quick breakaway, leaving the Andalusians needing four goals to turn the tie around.

Before the half time whistle though Jesús Navas got one back with a shot in off the far post, and after the break Manu del Moral, Rakitic and Negredo all wasted chances to equalize. Costa and Falcao also failed to hit the target at the other end though, and with a quarter of an hour to go the locals were left with ten men when Medel picked up two bookings in succession for fouls on the combative Costa.

Rakitic did make it 2-2 on the night with a low shot past Courtois in injury time, but another off-the-ball incident involving Costa ended with Kondogbia also being shown a red card a couple of minutes later.

The final has been scheduled for 18th May at a venue yet to be decided, although the date could be shifted slightly at the behest of the television company as this apparently clashes with the Eurovision Song Contest!
