Under 19 European finals

Spain 3 - France 3 (4-2 penalty shoot out)

Spain's under 19 side are through to another final after a nail-biting penalty shoot out against France. Julen Lopetegui's team were within seconds of winning on two occasions, the first at the end of the ninety minutes, and the second with the clock running down in extra time. But both times their opponents came back to level the scores, and in the end it was up to Athletic keeper Kepa to save the day with a couple of penalty stops from Umtiti and Kondogbia. Umtiti it was though who gave France a first half lead following a corner, and although goals by Deulofeu and Alcácer turned the scoreline around, the defender threw his side a lifeline with a carbon-copy second goal right at the end. Deulofeu scored his second of the day with ten minutes to go in the prologue, but once again France came back, Pogba turning in Digne's cross with four minutes to go to make it 3-3. Deulofeu calmly tucked away the last penalty for Spain though, and the youngsters now have a chance to defend their title against Greece, who surprisingly beat England in the other semi-final.
