Spanish international squads

Vicente Del Bosque named a 21 man squad for next week's friendly game against South American champions, which will be taking place in Qatar on Wednesday evening. Many names were mooted as new additions to the squad, including Michu, Iago Aspas and Rubén Castro, but in the end the coach has only called up two new faces, Chelsea right back Azpilicueta, and Málaga forward Isco. Spain's under 21 side will be playing a friendly fixture in Belgium the day before, but coach Julen Lopegui has decided to call up a new generation for that game, thinking of the 2013/15 championship rather than next summer's finals in Israel.
