Levante are close to a place in the next round of the Europa League after drawing 0-0 at Twente, although they still need a point or two to be sure of going through. With Hannover looking favourites to top the group, and Helsingborg almost out of the race, second spot appears to be between these two. The Spanish side's 3-0 victory in Valencia from two weeks ago gave them a big advantage, but a defeat in Holland would have opened things up once again. Both teams had their chances, Keylor Navas having to be at his best to keep out Janssen before the break and Braafheid and Rosales after the restart, and Diop and Barkero in particular testing Mihaylov. Douglas almost put through his own net shortly before half time, but in the end the scoreline remained unmoved, keeping Levante in second spot, still four points ahead of Steve McClaren's side.
